Argus has launched Waterloo Region’s first Foyer, a new semi‑independent transitional shelter designed for working poor at risk of homelessness, as well as youth enrolled in full‑time studies. During their stay, individuals will work, build savings, and develop the skills needed to move toward independent living and self reliance. Students will be able to focus on their education rather than survival, and youth who are working will have the opportunity to save up to $10,000 to support their future stability.
