About Argus

At Argus, we offer 24/7 homelesness prevention and shelter diversion services to youth in crisis anywhere within the Waterloo Region. In addition to our food, shelter and constant staff support, we also offer a voluntary life-skills acquisition program whose main goal is to mobilize young people experiencing homelessness towards a healthy and viable re-integration into their community.

Please join us for coffee, tea and a treat on Saturday November 20th, 2021, between the hours of 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at Monigram Coffee Roasters, located at 16 Ainsle Street S., Cambridge, Ontario The auction items will be available for public viewing, upstairs, that day. We would love to see you there. Please use the separate entrance located at the back of the building. Kindly note, proof of vaccination will be requested prior to entry.

Do Your Christmas Shopping and Support Local Youth

Programs & Services

Homelessness Prevention

Our coordinated homelessness prevention and shelter diversion services helps approximately 2,000 people in Waterloo Region, each year.

Job Skills Training

We provide paid job skills training to youth with self-identified employment barriers (i.e. mental health, etc.).

Uptown Thrift

One hundred percent of proceeds from sales from our self-sustaining social enterprise – Uptown Thrift, located at 742 King Street, Cambridge are used to create supportive employment for youth in need.
